Most web designers ask for a deposit and show you sketches weeks later. We do the opposite: we build a real, working preview of your site first, and you see it live before any money changes hands.
The reason is simple. A website is a big purchase from someone you just texted, and portfolios of other people's sites do not answer the only question that matters: what will MY site look like? A real preview answers it. It also keeps us honest. If we cannot build a preview you like, you should not pay us.
Here is how it goes: you send the brief, we build the preview in days, you click through it on your phone. Like it, and we finish the site for $2,000 flat. Do not like it, and you owe nothing. No deposit and no hard feelings.
What the preview actually is
Not a mockup, not a slideshow. A real page you open on your phone: your business name, your services, your photos, working buttons. It looks like your site because it is the start of your site.
For Detroit owners it is usually the first time a designer has shown them their own site instead of someone else's.
Why we can afford to do this
Because two people with a system build faster than an agency with a process. The preview takes us days, and most of it rolls straight into the final build, so nothing is wasted.
