Schema, in plain English.

The hidden labels that tell Google your hours, phone, and service area.

Schema is a hidden label you put on your pages that tells search engines what they are looking at: this is a business, here is the phone, here is the area served, these are the hours.

With it, Google can show your phone number, reviews, and hours right in results. Without it, the engine is guessing from visible text, and guesses render as plain blue links.

Every Signal build ships with LocalBusiness schema wired to your real details. You never have to think about it again.

What schema looks like

It is a small block of structured data in the page that spells out your name, address, phone, hours, service area, and social links in a format machines parse exactly.

Humans never see it. Search engines read it on every visit, which is the point.

What it earns you

Rich results: your hours and location attached to your listing, your service area stated instead of guessed, and a cleaner match for 'near me' searches.

For a Detroit shop, the difference between a plain blue link and a rich listing is the difference between being skipped and being tapped.

The mistakes we fix

Schema copied from a template with another business's facts, hours that contradict the Google profile, and service areas that say three different things in three places.

We generate schema from one source of truth on every build, so the site, the profile, and the labels all say the same thing.

Quick answers.

Can I add schema myself?

You can, but it is easy to get wrong silently. We wire it and validate it.

Does schema guarantee rich results?

No guarantee, ever. It makes them possible and improves matching either way.

Which schema types matter locally?

LocalBusiness, Service, and FAQ are the workhorses. We ship all three where they fit.

Does it need updating?

When your facts change, which is why ours is generated from your real details.
